TERMS & CONDITIONS

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of alignmultifamily.com and related event registration pages (together, the "Site") and your registration for and attendance at events hosted by Align Multifamily Network LLC ("Align Multifamily Network," "we," "us," "our"). By using the Site or registering for an event, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.
1. WHO WE ARE
Align Multifamily Network LLC provides education, training, live events, and community resources related to multifamily real estate. We are an education company. We are not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, law firm, or accounting firm.
2. EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY
All content on the Site and at our events is for educational and informational purposes only. It is general in nature and is not tailored to your situation. Nothing we publish or present is financial, investment, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and nothing is a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any asset. You are responsible for your own decisions. Before acting on anything you learn from us, consult your own licensed financial advisor, attorney, and tax professional.
3. NO OFFER OF SECURITIES
Nothing on the Site or at our events is an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security or investment. Any offer of securities, if one is ever made, would be made only to qualified individuals through official offering documents and in accordance with applicable federal and state securities laws. References to prior transactions, properties, units, or capital raised describe past activities of our principals and affiliated companies, are provided as background only, and are not an offer to invest or an indication of future results.
4. EARNINGS DISCLAIMER AND ASSUMPTION OF RISK
We make no income claims and guarantee no results. We do not promise that you will earn money, acquire property, raise capital, or achieve any particular outcome. Examples and case studies are individual experiences and are not typical. Real estate investing involves substantial risk, including illiquidity and the possible loss of your entire investment. You alone are responsible for evaluating any opportunity and for the results of your decisions.
5. EVENT REGISTRATION AND ADMISSION
Our preview events are free to attend unless otherwise stated. Registration is a request for a seat, not a guarantee of admission; seating is limited and available first come, first served. Event dates, times, venues, speakers, and content may change without notice, and we may cancel or reschedule an event at any time. We are not responsible for travel or other costs you incur in connection with an event, including a canceled or rescheduled one. We reserve the right to refuse admission to, or remove, any person whose conduct we consider disruptive, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with the purpose of the event, without any obligation to you.
6. RECORDING AND MEDIA RELEASE
Our events may be photographed, filmed, and recorded. By attending, you grant Align Multifamily Network LLC and its affiliates a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use your image, likeness, voice, and statements captured at the event in our content and marketing, in any media, without compensation to you. If you do not wish to appear in event media, tell our staff at check-in and we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate you. You may not record, livestream, or reproduce event sessions without our prior written permission.
7. COMMUNICATIONS
By providing your contact information and any requested consents at registration, you agree that we may contact you by email, phone call, and text message as described at the point of signup and in our Privacy Policy. This may include automated technology, prerecorded or AI-generated voice messages, AI-assisted text conversations, and ringless voicemail. Consent to marketing communications is not a condition of registration or purchase, and you may opt out at any time (reply STOP to texts, use the unsubscribe link in emails, or contact us at [email protected]).
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
The Site, our events, and all related materials (including text, graphics, logos, video, audio, workbooks, and course content) are owned by Align Multifamily Network LLC or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use these materials for your own education. You may not copy, sell, distribute, publicly display, or create derivative works from our materials without our prior written permission.
9. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to use the Site or our events for any unlawful purpose; to solicit our attendees or community members for your own offerings without our permission; to interfere with the operation of the Site; to submit false registration information; or to infringe anyone's rights.
10. TESTIMONIALS AND THIRD-PARTY CONTENT
Testimonials reflect the individual experience of the person giving them, are not typical, and do not guarantee similar results. The Site may contain links to third-party websites or reference third-party tools and services. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, products, or practices.
11. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES
The Site, our events, and our materials are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure, or that any content is accurate, complete, or current.
12. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Align Multifamily Network LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, or lost data, arising out of or related to the Site, our events, or our materials, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for all claims will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose or one hundred dollars ($100), whichever is greater. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Align Multifamily Network LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, and affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your attendance at our events, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER
Before filing any claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and give us thirty (30) days to work toward an informal resolution. Any dispute that cannot be resolved informally will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its rules, on an individual basis only. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class action. Either party may instead bring an individual claim in small claims court. If this arbitration provision is found unenforceable, disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
15. GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of laws rules.
16. GENERAL
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any consents you give at registration, are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Site and our events. We may update these Terms at any time by posting a revised version with a new effective date; your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
